CONSISTENCY What is the average amount a horse wins
			everytime it comes in-the-money?
We look at the earnings for the races that
the horse has finished first, second, or third
and divide it by the number of starts that
the horse has finished first, second, or third.
The races occuring during the last nine months
			are examined.

PACE The SmartFiles process converts the
points of call times to "feet per second".
This is done to accurately compare pace
			at different distances.
HARD and SOFT Characteristics are considered either Hard
CHARACTERISTICS or Soft. Hard characteristics are determined
by comparing horses against each other,
such as fastest speed, best record, etc..
Soft characteristics are determined by a horse's
individual past performances, such as, Improved
Last 2 Races, Tough Effort In Last, etc..
