Consistency
and Hard Characteristic
Comparisons
Compare the horses in this race vs. each horse's
competition in the last race
An important factor in
determining class level is, on average,
how much does a horse make every time he/she is entered in a
race.
We will provide the average consistency figure for the
competition
from each horse's last race, and compare it against the average
consistency
figure for the competition in today's race. The Consistency is
computed by dividing the money earned, by the number of starts.
In most cases, we will only consider races run within the last
six months.
We will also do the same thing for the number of Hard
Characteristics,
which also gives an excellent indication of how a horse
compares against the competition.
Together these two pieces of information will give you an
excellent indication of the horse's proven class level, and what
you can probably expect in today's race from each of the horses.
This information is being included as part of the
Condensed Report (Cond),
and as with all our reports, there is NO additional charge.
